A native Midwesterner, Britta has dedicated 20 years to librarianship. She has served as both President and Vice President of the SHARE executive council and has presented at the Illinois Library Association (ILA) and Southeast Florida Library Information Network (SEFLIN).

She has been published in Florida Libraries.
